And mentioning our new website, I want to recognize the Website Committee for producing such an excellent update to the look and feel of our site. The new site is well organized, has an excellent layout which makes searching of information seamless, and has a social media aspect. I think you will all agree the website now has a truly professional and modern look. Many thanks to the Website Committee chaired by Joe Markley. The Committee spent days and countless hours moving the website to a new host server. I’d like to thank Kimberly Rubal and Dorenda Turner who spent hours constructing the new site and porting over information, Matt Brittain for his technical expertise, and Eileen Garrity for analyzing the old and new sites to ensure all information was migrated to the new site. And a special thank you to Joe Markley for overseeing the entire process. We hope to hear from you via the social media aspect of the site but I would request you be mindful of what you post. I trust that all posts will reflect the professionalism of our community and would always reflect positively on the judiciary.
Finally, I want to thank the Membership Committee for their hard work this year during the Membership Drive and the Member Appreciation Week. We had a very successful drive and appreciation week thanks to the Membership Committee, Chaired by Sabrina Palacio-Garcia. Joining Sabrina on the Committee are Jeffrey Peirce, Josiah Sell, Pam Smith, and Mary Isenhower. Through their efforts, I’m proud to report our membership stands at 1214 members as of early March. I understand additional folks have joined since that time. Many thanks to all our members for making our organization great.
Hope to see you all in Atlanta!
